If it wasn’t for the thousands of calories involved, american-style fatty pancakes would be my favourite everyday breakfast. Unfortunately, I have to limit this sweet addiction to once per week, at the Sunday brunch.
It’s not easy to find some decent ones in Athens anyway. Most of the times, what they serve as pancakes is some shit with honey on top, something that really pisses me off.
That’s why I trust just a few places for pancakes, top3 of which are MALCONI’S in Kolonaki, NEW YORK SANDWICHES in Syntagma sq. & NIXON in Gazi. Hurry up & try them if you haven’t already!
