Strolling around Kolonaki, one shouldn’t miss some thrilling examples of mid-war Athens architecture, a style that followed neoclassicism and was very much alike what we call «the modern movement» (but more suitable for the well-off residential neighbourhoods of the fast-growing greek capital).
My personal favorites are the building at Dexameni square (seen below) and the one on the corner of Ploutarchou & Charitos street.
