The award-winning Abovo restaurant has recently moved to Kolonaki serving two different menus: one during the day & one in the evening. I tried the latter & it was great (the beef tartare, the duck, the… squid carbonara!).
Creative chef Michalis Nourloglou seems to have a passion for excellent food, love and appreciation for the best raw materials and motivation to satisfy every connoisseur looking for something different.
I was also really surprised by the ultra-efficient & kind staff (well, it’s not often nowadays, you know…) as well as the delicate minimalistic decoration (clean lines, selective use of colors and an overall white-black decoration) with an open kitchen to watch your food being prepared live.
Not another s(h)ame restaurant…
