The usual fall dilemma: Desert or Working boots?

They are both ankle boots made of suede leather. So what’s the big difference?

Well, working boots (resembling those of a deep forest lumberjack) are in a way more appropriate for fall/winter since they are more durable, warm & with higher heels, thus avoiding mud, snow or rain puddles…

Desert boots on the other hand are softer, lighter, flat (thus more comfortable), more elegant, but they will disappoint you even in light rain, as you will easily get wet & your shoes’ suede leather stained or even ruined forever…

Personally, I prefer to wear the former on cold winter days, when I tend to dress casual & the latter when weather is cold but sunny. Striped sock oprional…
